New puzzle game launched for iPod
A new download for those who enjoy playing games on their iPods has been launched by developer Gameloft.
The company's Bubble Bash program is a new game in which players are challenged to complete over 100 levels against opponents that try to stop your character from exploring a tropical island.
Compatible with the nano, classic and fifth generation models of the iPod, the new game is available to download from iTunes for $4.99 (£2.50).
Gameloft's senior vice president of publishing, Gonzague de Vallois, said the company was "thrilled" to bring the game to the iPod.
He added: "The success of the game goes to show how original titles can really enhance and create a fresh experience in gaming for iPod owners who seek entertainment on the go."
The release of Bubble Bash has come after a new game based on the Pirates of the Caribbean film series was launched for the portable entertainment device.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Aegir's Fire is available to download from iTunes for around $5 (£2.57).
