New in-car accessories for iPod released

A new device which offers a range of services to those who regularly use their iPods whilst driving has been launched.

The 6-in-1 Car Kit for the iPod allows users to enjoy their favourite tunes from the portable music players through their car radio via an FM transmitter, while it also charges the device through a connection to a car's cigarette lighter.

Gizmo News reports that the accessory, which can be used in conjunction with most iPod models, features an extra USB port, meaning users can also charge up mobile phones, PDAs and other mp3 players using the system.

In addition, people also do not need to take their eyes off the road to use the controls of the accessory, as it comes with a wireless remote control.

The release of the new accessory has come after Incase also released a new two-in-one charger which allows iPod users to charge their music player via both a car's cigarette lighter and a wall socket.
