New iPod speaker caters for cyclists
Music-loving cyclists can now shun earphones following the launch of a new bicycle-friendly iPod speaker.
The iH85B Bike to Beach Bicycle Speaker for iPod is the brainchild of electronics company iHome, which has previously come up with such gadgets as the iPod shower speaker and Boombox.
Its latest gadget, which works with all docking iPods, comes complete with a frame and water-bottle style case which can be attached to a bicycle frame.
Additionally, there is a small wireless remote control to fasten to the bike's handlebars to enable the rider to change tracks without taking their eyes off the road.
Those less than stable on their bike need not worry too much about their iPod as the iH85B's case is both impact and water-resistant.
People preferring to workout indoors may instead want to opt for the X-Bike Apple iPod kit, which is designed for use with an exercise bike and comes complete with a range of training videos.
