Consultation participants to win iPod Nanos

Children and young people taking part in the General Medical Council's consultation, which will lead to the publication of new guidance, are being entered into a draw to win two iPod Nanos.

Winners of the devices will be picked at random from all questionnaires submitted before February 23rd.

The council said: "We write advice for doctors on lots of topics but have never written advice that is just about children and young people before – we want to write advice for doctors about how they should look after you."

Additionally, iPod Nanos will be won by one person from each of Great Britain's four countries – England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland – who designs a poster that could be used for the cover of the guidance, which will be given to all doctors in the UK.

A winning cover will be chosen from the four final posters.

The competition closes on March 2nd.
