Jamo i300 available for iPod
Jamo, a Danish speaker manufacturer, has created a 2.1 surround set complete with iPod docking station.
Made up of a large subwoofer and two smaller satellites, the Jamo i300 is available in a choice of black or white.
The system charges the iPod while it is playing and is fitted with two auxiliary inputs – one on its rear panel and one on the subwoofer.
Pocket Lint said: "We especially liked that you can connect the speakers to your computer and share the sound with the iPod rather than having one or the other."
The speakers supplied with the system are magnetically-shielded boxes, finished in the same white or black as the subwoofer.
Offering 150-watt high efficiency class D digital amplifier, the subwoofer powers a 6.5-inch bass driver.
The dock has a mute button and a large volume knob that controls both the bass level and the main volume.
A long-range, radio frequency remote control is also included.
