iPod gets amped up
For those serious about providing their iPod s with the right sound equipment, the Fatman iTube may be just the ticket.
The Fatman iTube Valve Dock features an old fashioned valve amp that provides old fashioned sounds – as rich and warm as dark mahogany.
Able to be hooked up to a television or stereo system, the iTube can provide its unique sound to iPod movie clips.
Of the iTube, Tech Digest said: "While old-school technology might be at work for the music output, the iTube is still a very modern piece of kit."
Compatible with all iPod s, except for the shuffle, the iTube will go on sale in July, priced at £300.
A remote control is included with the amp, so users don't have to get off their couch to switch tracks.
Lately Taiwanese company A-zone also released a valve amp for the iPod , dubbed the Valve Station, which looks even more old-school than the iTube.
