US can't get enough of the iPod
With the dollar still weak against the pound, many Brits travelling to the US could be tempted to up-grade their iPod while they are there.
However, shoppers would be advised to stick to online bargains in the UK, as rumours of an iPod shortage are already being circulating stateside.
IPod news reports that many retailers in the US are complaining that orders simply aren't meeting the frenzied demand for the digital music players, with some orders only covering half the anticipated weekly sales.
However, shoppers shouldn't despair just yet. Apple has already taken steps to ensure that no one will have to wait too long for the latest iPod by signing new contracts for vital software.
