Coldplay’s sunny iPod collaboration

As if we needed any more reasons to love Coldplay (great songs, ethical ethos, cute lead singer), the British supergroup have started selling iPod accessories!

Well, they haven’t set up a market stall in Portobello or anything, but their UK website is currently selling limited edition solar-powered iPod chargers.

There are only 200 Solio solar-power iPod battery chargers on sale from the Coldplay online store, and each comes complete with cryptic artwork from the band’s new album, X&Y.

The compact and lightweight Solio features a unique fan-blade design that allows it to “achieve maximum solar area when in use, and to fold compactly to the size of an average mobile phone when stored.”

The perfect iPod accessory to get us through our sunniest summer yet!
