Apple has revealed that Amy Winehouse, Mika and Rihanna are among the biggest selling artists through their iTunes service this year.
Winehouse's acclaimed Back to Black album was the most popular album download of 2007, while Mika's Grace Kelly was the most downloaded single through the online music store for the iPod.
The Lebanon-born artist's debut LP Life in Cartoon Motion was also a big seller, along with album releases from the Arctic Monkeys, Mark Ronson and singer-songwriter Newton Faulkner.
Rihanna's summer hit Umbrella, which was number one in the UK for ten weeks, was the second biggest single, followed by The Fray's How to Save a Life.
Commenting on the figures, iTunes Europe director Oliver Schusser said: "2007 has been a fantastic year for digital music. We've grown our catalogue from three million to six million."
iTunes was introduced by Apple in January 2001 and has become one of the most popular media player applications used across the world.
