A US-based iPod case manufacturer has launched two new chargers designed for use with Apple's portable music players.

iFrogz' new wall charger is available in white, black and pink and can be used to power up an iPod while driving via USB cable.

In addition, the company has released a wall charger for US iPod users to use two-pin wall sockets in the country to boost the life of their music players.

The charger design for home use is also available in white, blue, pink, green and black and will retail for about $14.99 (£7), while the device for use in the car is to be available for about $12.99 (£6).

iFrogz' new car charger has been released after Griffin Technology announced the release of the AutoPilot, which allows motorists to charge their iPod and also features a system for simple control of the music player while in the car.

Griffin's device is set to retail for around $49.99 (£24).
