New software which can make photos, slide shows and videos compatible for use on portable devices including the iPod has been launched.
Photodex's new ProShow Gold 3.2 software allows users to create personalised slideshows using music, photos and videos, before letting them transfer their efforts on to portable devices and share them with loved ones.
The software is also compatible with mobile phones including the Blackberry and games consoles such as Xbox and Nintendo DS.
Commenting on the new software, Photodex president Paul Schmidt said: "Consumers are surrounded by an immense amount of personal technology everyday.
"We have taken advantage of this technology in the latest version of ProShow by providing an easy way for consumers to get their slide shows, photos and videos onto the devices and gadgets they use everyday."
Last month, software company iSkysoft launched software which allows iPod owners to download their favourite DVDs onto their music players.
The company's DVD-to-iPod converter also allows film fans to choose the audio track they would like to accompany the rip of their favourite films.
