Two leading iPod accessory manufacturers have announced a major deal to use their technologies in a range of new products.
Myvu Corporation's venture with Ultimate Ears is expected to lead to the latter's audio components being used in all of the former's product line, reports iLounge.
Discussing the new venture with the website, Ultimate Ears' president Mindy Harvey said: "Myvu has a fantastic new technology that deserves a sound quality to match its video.
"This unique combination will give Myvu customers an unparalleled experience that encompasses comfort, quality and of course, entertainment."
Specialising in portable media viewers which are compatible with the iPod, Myvu's products allow users of the entertainment player to watch their favourite recordings on the move.
The company's decision to join forces with Ultimate Ears, which also makes custom-fit earpieces for music stars including Stevie Wonder and Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, has come after it received acclaim for its products from publications including the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
