Leather accessories manufacturer Noreve has announced plans to launch a new leather case for the iPod touch.

The Traditional B protective case, which will be made available in 15 different colours, is expected to be available to buy from October 29th.

According to iLounge, the case is expected to feature cut-outs for the screen, dock connector and headphone jack, while the accessory has a padded design to provide good protection for the user's iPod.

Priced at around $56 (£27), the lining of the case also features the Noreve logo embossed on the interior.

Noreve was established as a leather accessories provider in 2004 and has produced a number of cases for a variety of mp3 players and iPods.

In the past several months, the French company has released casing designs for the iPhone, the iPod nano 3G and the classic model of the portable player.
