A new range of cases has been launched for the nano, classic and touch models of the iPod.

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) has released several new protective designs to expand its range of HipCase products.

The folio case and its nylon alternative feature a padded leather cover, a belt clip and an inside pocket on the flap ideal for storing cards and cash, while the new sleeve design for the iPod touch includes surface protectors for the screen.

Discussing the new range, DLO's vice-president of marketing Andrew Green said: "Each new HipCase brings rich sophistication to the current iPod models and fits just as easily with blue jeans as with a business suit.

"With integrated belt clips on each model, the HipCases are not only stylish, but they also offer many versatile ways to transport your music on the go."

DLO's release of the new cases has come after ShadesCases released new polyurethane casing for the iPod classic and nano with video.

The cases feature access to the headphone jack, hold switch and dock connector, while an embossed click wheel cover is also included.
