Three new iPod accessories have been launched by a US-based electronics company.

Blue Raven Technology's new range includes an audio recorder compatible with the portable music player, a home theatre dock and a wireless radio transmitter.

According to iLounge, the audio recorder, which retails for $52 (£26) allows an iPod owner to make use of the device's voice memo function by featuring a microphone that connects to the docking connector of the player.

Retailing at $50 (£25), the wireless transmitter package includes a car charger and can transmit a user's favourite music across a 100ft distance, while the theatre dock allows an iPod owner to connect their device to their hi-fi or TV.

Available with its own remote control, the home theatre connector retails at $80 (£40).

Blue Raven is a Boston-based company which specialises in the repair and sale of electronic products including both laptop and desktop computers.

Established in 1985, the company also sells a range of products for the iPod.
