Griffin Technology has updated its range of iPod accessories for the new second-generation iPod nano.
The disko nano polycarbonate case has been altered to include a ring of coloured lights around the Click Wheel opening, which flash lights and patterns in response to any movement sensed.
Available at a cost of $29.99 (£15.30), the new case comes with its own batteries to avoid shortening the lifespan of the nano between charges.
Alternatively, iPod nano users can now purchase a transparent iClear case from the group, keeping their nano well-protected and scratch-free.
The group said: "iClear's transparent and unobtrusive design protects the iPod with a tough, polycarbonate two-piece shell that is strong enough to take the daily abuse of active lifestyles."
In addition to guarding the device against damage, the device provides total access to the iPod's control wheel, audio jack, on switch, USB port and LED.
The iClear retails at $19.99 (£10.19).
