Department stores worldwide are cashing in on the iPod this year, to boost their Christmas sales.
J C Penney in the US is selling a range of iPod-friendly polyester Kenpo jackets ranging from costs of $109.99 (£57.40) to $179.99 (£94), with fabric iPod control systems woven into the sleeves.
The "made for iPod collection" includes a choice of colours and designs, with a current favourite being the Kenpo for iPod Ski Jacket in yellow with black and white pockets.
In Rinascente department store in Milan, Italy, new iPod listening stations have been launched, with plans to introduce them in other European stores, according to Macworld.
Meanwhile, John Lewis in the UK has a wide computing section, offering all iPod models including the new 30 gigabyte iPod video.
The chain also sells a variety of iPod accessories, including the Bose SoundDock Speaker system, which retails at £249.
