New iFi stereo system for Apple iPod

| No Comments | 1 TrackBack

Klipsh is set to release a new home stereo system in the UK, designed specifically for use with the Apple iPod .

Manufacturer Klipsch, has an impressive reputation in the US as a leading audio equipment maker and it looks like it has brought its expertise in developing the new stereo.

Klipsch claims the iFi differs from conventional iPod speakers
since it is pitched as the first iPod-dockable home stereo system.

It comes with two RSX-3 satellite speakers and a fat 200 watt sub-woofer with an eight inch driver, making it more powerful than conventional iPod dock speaker systems.

The dock itself is believed to be compatible with all iPods including the
iPod mini
and early first and second generation versions of the machine.

Users can control the system with a neat radio frequency remote, which allows line-of-sight access.

The Klipsh iFi should be available from around March this year and will retail at £249.
