iPod fever infiltrates British teen psyche

| No Comments | 6 TrackBacks

Nearly 70 per cent of teenagers in the UK know exactly how much an Apple iPod or an iPod mini costs, according to research published today.

However, according to the survey by financial experts Sesame, over three quarters of teens confess to having no idea about the price of everyday items, such as a pint of milk.

The startling figure shows just how far reaching the iPod consumer wave has been in infiltrating the commercial awareness of teenagers.

The survey also reveals just how powerful a consumer force British teenagers are becoming although only for particular products such as in vogue MP3 players.

Consumer demand in the UK for Apple's iPod and compatible iPod accessories has continued to leave retailers in short supply and this survey clearly suggests that with more and more younger people discovering the iPod, its popularity is set to only increase further in the near future.
