Once every couple months I travel either overseas or cross-country and I take my iPod everywhere. As most iPod owners know, especially those with the third generation iPods or earlier, battery life has always been an issue and I found my iPod battery running out unless I was lucky enough to find an electric outlet at the airport just before taking off. I recently ordered the Powerstick and it works great. Even charging my iPod for twenty minutes on the Powerstick gives me a couple hours of listening time. It's fairly compact (fits nicely in my messenger bag), simple, and relatively inexpensive. My only complaint is that it isn't rechargeable. In the end I bought NiMH batteries for it and it's still less expensive than rechargeable iPod pocket chargers.
