Docking & Sound, the i-Station offers a complete solution to listen, recharge, and synchronise your iPod or iPod mini. It produces hi-fi quality sound from the combination of a sub-woofer, dynamic tweeter speakers and 3D surround sound processor.

The compact portable unit measures only 137 x 195 x 40mm and can be powered by AC Mains (supplied) or 4 x AA Batteries (not supplied). By using the line-in port it can also be used in conjunction with a number of other audio devices such as MiniDisc, MP3 Players or Portable CD Players.

I was quite excited to receive the i-station, and was surprised at its powerful sound quality, considering its size. However, there are some problems I have encountered. The first being that if the Ipod is left idle on the i-station, without power, it drains completely of any stored power. It refuses to come on and is completely unresponsive, and must be recaliberated. Plus, the latest problem I have now encountered is that the i-station seemed to hang and now refuses to come on. The ipod however charges while docked meaning that power from the wall plug reaches i-station, but speakers and remote control dont respond. The product manual has no troubleshooting tips, and I have not been able to find help online yet.
