This is A lot better than I expected. There is a little movement on bumpy roads but not much. It automatically finds free channels With no difficulty and then gives clear sound to radio. I use it with sat nav and music and it works well for both. Manages to charge iPhone even with the extra drain of the gps receiver running. Also sends track name to radio on rds. Only slight downside is that if you have no music playing then it doesnt keep the signal going to the radio so radio hisses. Bit of a pain in between sat nav instructions! Overall a fantastic all in one device for its price

Superb product, ipod looks really good with no trailing wires and sound fantastic. Quick and easy to set up and easy to use, no fiddling for a signal. The only downside to its success depends on where your 12v socket is. The long neck is very adaptable but can't use it in husband's Audi with the socket in between the gearstick and handbrake as it gets in the way! For any one unsure of suitability, the base of ipod stands about 175cms away from socket when plugged in and swivels as well as bends.

This is the best ipod transmitter i have ever brought. Having tried 4 different models i can confidently say this has the best sound clarity. The fact that it charges your ipod and holds it secure in a handy place makes it really simple to use. The only slight problem is that when you turn your vehicle ignition off the roadtrip still draws power from your car battery! Be carefull to remove the roadtrip when leaving your vehicle or you could return to a flat battery. Overall an excellent product and fantastic value for money.

I hesitated purchasing one of this type of iPod connector over hard wired kit. Am I disappointed with my decission? No, not yet. My main concern was interference from other radio signals and as yet this has not been a problem with the three presets to choose from. The unit is extremely easy to use. It was more difficult to extricate from the packaging than set it up - and that is no exageration. Bonus, not listed is that it is possible to have limited control of the iPod from the Road Trip. Also the super quick standard delivery time. Ordered Monday arrived Wednesday.

I've wanted to be able to use my ipod in my car but didnt want to pay the price to have the kit installed by renault, so when i saw this i was really excited. Having spent a lot of time trying to decide between all the different models i opted for this one and i'm glad i did. The neck is strong yet easy to bend into the required position and it took me about 30 seconds to set up. I thought the sound wasn't going to be very good but it is very clear, just like listening to a cd. it is easy to reach and change tracks and volume is controlled through your normal radio function. Well worth the money compared to the hundreds you'd pay for buit in kit and great for long journeys as you'll never get bored of songs.
