Why We Like It
Because it’s so much more than just an FM transmitter!
Summary
The 3-in-1 FM Transmitter Car Charger and Cradle is all you’ll ever need for using your iPod or iPhone whilst driving. First of all, it works as an FM transmitter, providing an outstanding signal that allows you to listen to your tunes in your car. But it’s not just any FM transmitter - it features a digital display so you can see exactly what frequency you're transmitting at!
It also supports your iPhone 3G handsfree through your car speaker system (using an iPhone microphone) which allows you to chat safely as you drive. Your iPod or iPhone will also automatically charge once it’s docked in the device and you can even charge a second device via the USB socket.
Functionality-wise, this car kit is second to none but the design doesn’t disappoint either. The flexible goose-pipe charging arm allows you to easily mount this kit and adjust it to suit your needs. It uses a flexible clamp to fix the iPhone/iPod steadily in the car and the high quality silicone gel at the back and sides of the cradle protect your iPod/iPhone.

Why is this product an iWorld Favourite? We love this FM transmitter because it pretty much does everything! It wirelessly transmits your tunes to your car stereo, it plugs into your cigarette lighter to charge your iPod or iPhone and it acts as a superb car mount so your precious device isn’t rolling around your dashboard! And the best bit… with your iPhone you can take calls through your car stereo as well!
A fantastic idea, the only flaw is its not very stable. When I turn a corner it flops over so Id recommend a bracket of sorts to hold it upright. Other than that its brilliant

This is the third transmitter Ive tried, and the first that actually works! Sound quality is great plus the fact that it charges as well is a bonus. The only problem with it is that you cant turn the cradle around at all - the position of the socket in my car means that the only way I can plug it in results in my iPod being upside down, and the cable that you plug the iPod in to isnt long enough to allow you to plug it in the other way up.

Its a great cradle! I can actually stick my iPhone in the cradle with its case on, which is always a major issue with other cradles.
The USB and Audio sock are perfect as I can hook it up to my iPhone when in its car mount for Sat Nav purposes.
Only 4/5 due to:
1. the sounds quality is ok, but not excellent, sounds almost like a robotic echo sometimes;
2. the ratchet on the back has worn out in just a few days, meaning it just flops, I dont expect this after a few days but not important; 3.
3. Its a bit shaky in the charge socket, its the right size but doesnt seem to be enough bulk so can disconnect every now and then.
Apart from those really rather minor points, its great.
Great value

Have only used this for one day but has been great. The only thing is I would have liked to be able to rotate the iPhone 90 degrees to landscape, but apart from this it’s a great piece of kit and very easy to use - plug and play. Very secure in lighter socket, using an iPhone 3G 8gb and good sound using charger plug.
Great for price

This was very quick to set up and use. The sound quality is excellent. The only draw back was connecting to the socket on my A Class Merc, I had to buy an extension socket.
Does what it says, quick to set up, excellent reception
