This product can be adapted for use with a standard iPod. Once fitted, the pocket flap will not be flush with the top of the pocket, due to the nature of the headphone jack on the iPod, although there is enough room for the velcro to reach.
To avoid undue pressure on the headphone jack and to keep the unit as motion free as possible you could either:
- Use a different set of headphones with a right angled jack.
- Punch a small hole in the pocket flap for the straight iPod headphone jack to come out.
- Punch a small hole in the bottom of the pouch, and insert the iPod upside down with the straight headphone jack coming out the bottom instead of the top.
