The Shoe Pouch is secured to the outside of your shoe and attached through your shoelaces, not over or under them. The stretchable neoprene fabric has a slit barley wide enough to enclose the Sport Kit sensor - so you should feel some resistance when inserting the sensor, making the sensor completely secure in the pouch.

The very snug fit for the Sport Kit sensor minimises the risk of the sensor falling out while exercising. And because the sensor is completely secured within the pouch it won’t bounce up and down, and will therefore transmit accurate data.
