About iWorld: iWorld is
the world’s largest iPod accessory store. We’re based
in Twickenham in the South West of London and are an important part
of a company called WorldStores Limited. Our focus is on bringing
you the very best iPod accessories from around the world at a low
price, while at the same time giving you a great customer
experience. We really do care about what you think (because we want
you to come back to us) and therefore genuinely appreciate any
comments you want to make.
About WorldStores: With over 350,000 items dispatched in the
last 12 months and 100,000’s of satisfied customers
WorldStores is one of the fastest growing e-tailers in the UK,
owning and operating 20 different web sites (see www.worldstores.co.uk for more details)
with a further 20 web sites to be opened in 2008.
Unlike other retailers (online or in the bricks and mortar world),
we don't limit our product selection: because of our limitless
shelf space (we use a colossal warehouse facility and also leverage
the power of our suppliers’ storage), our stores offer an
incredible level of choice. Each of our stores offers a simple
shopping experience that makes it easy for customers to find what
they are looking for. Since we are an online retailer, we keep our
overheads low. This means we can offer you great value.
Furthermore, our store managers are constantly searching for new,
exciting products.

Joe Murray and Richard
Tucker
The ultimate in er, geek-cool (it does exist), Joe and Richard
scour the world looking for the next big thing. Think the
Simon Cowells of the online world. Back here in the UK they
spend every waking hour running WorldStores (iWorld’s parent
company) and making it into the fastest growing retailer on the
web. And they want to hear your feedback, so please do let them
know what you think of the site by using the email form here.

Buyer
|
Ryan
Clifford
See all those lovely products on the site? Ryan buys them all. Out
of his own pocket. Not really, but he does spend countless hours
fending off the chaff and shmoozing the wheat of suppliers to make
sure only the best products reach WorldStores.

Sangita
Pal
While Ryan is out shmoozing, Sangita is doing the really important
things, like making sure the WorldStores’ inventory shelves
are heaving with products ready to fly and snapping at
suppliers’ heels for timely deliveries. If the product you
want is not available on this website, chances are you won’t
be able to get it anywhere else either, as the WorldStores’
buying team has a lot of (metaphorical) weight to throw
around.

Content
Team
|
Ailie Keter, Bogdan
Tiganov, Jo Read and Daniel Marsh
A team of creators ready at the drop of a hat to write engaging,
witty copy and create jaw-droppingly amazing images of all the
latest WorldStores products. Only the crème de la crème of
Tolstoy-esque writers and Apple-quality designers make it in the
content team, clearly. And who do you think writes the ‘About
Us’ pages???
(See www.bogdantiganov.com for stories, poems,
lyrics and scripts of Bogdan Tiganov)

Designer
|
Darren
Lambourne
A master of the (dark) arts, Darren can manipulate images, graphics
or web pages into doing exactly what he wants. Constantly imitated,
WorldStores’ designs are its billboard, its $1million
call-sign, its pièce de résistance which is why we can sleep at
night knowing we’ve got Darren to keep them looking as pretty
as the day they were conceived.

Andrew
Flack
There are 10 types of people who understand binary – those
who do and those who don’t… and Andy is 9 of them.
Confused? Andy isn’t and that is why we are very glad it is
he who keeps our sites doing all sorts of clever things behind the
scenes.

Tamas
Marin
If Andy’s name was Sherlock, Tamas would probably be
called...well we’d still call him Tamas, but you get the
picture. Tamas completes the virtual problem solving duo helping us
keep the sites of WorldStores bug-free and open for
business.

Accountant
|
Malgorzata
Brunsz-Steane
The WorldStores piggy bank was getting a bit heavy so Malgorzata,
or Gosia to those who can’t pronounce it, was brought in to
organise the money (we're going to get her one of those coin
sorters for Christmas). She holds all the credit cards where
WorldStores’ funds are concerned, and duly doles out any cash
needed to keep the wolves from the door. She is the one whose good
books we all want to be in where wages are
concerned…

Kasia Nawrotek and
Molly Zhang
Keeping on top of all those money transactions is no mean feat but
our assistant accountants Kasia and Molly manage to make it look
easy. Files are filed, money is paid, suppliers are happy -
it’s a win-win situation for all. And they even make sure
there’s enough left over for the occasional pizza to keep us
workers happy.

Customer
Service
|
Oscar Medley, Manmit
Arora and Ben Baggett
Customer service operators are a rare breed. They can sit for 8
hours in a headset, work patiently as altruistic martyrs and still
go home sane at the end of the day to live relatively normal lives.
Such is their dedication, they even dream of iPod cases and have
referred to the Distance Selling Act when receiving sub-standard
parcels from their parents...
Among other things, they help you
with product queries, find your missing orders and replace your
faulty items. Mainly they act as the front line to the barrage of
enquiries we get about anything from ‘do you have any
headphones that will fit my cat?’ to ‘I need a
water-proof, drop-proof, child-safe, carbon-footprint-neutral iPod
case – and how many colours does it come in?’…
Most of the time customer service can provide the
answer.
